Ruppiner Gastro - Care is a supplementary feed that can help to support the regeneration of the gastric mucosa. There are a variety of different triggers for gastric mucosal lesions, stomach ulcers, colic or general stomach problems in horses. Common causes are errors in feeding management, stress, transport, illnesses, but also social imbalances in the herd. Ruppiner Gastro - Care helps to balance and buffer excess stomach acid. In this way, a natural digestive environment can be promoted. Unlike other products, it does not inhibit the production of gastric acid, but instead naturally buffers excess gastric acid. It also contains valuable components that can contribute to the formation of a protective layer for the gastric mucosa. Other ingredients such as extruded flaxseed and brewer's yeast contribute to the formation of a protective layer on the stomach lining. Live yeast serves as a probiotic, can improve the habitat for anaerobic bacteria and promote fiber digestion.

The product is particularly suitable for horses that tend to have a sensitive stomach or gastric ulcers. But the feed is also suitable for stress-prone horses, before transport or other stressful situations.

Feeding recommendation

Due to the higher content of Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-1077 (E1711/4b1711/4a1711) compared to complete feed, this supplementary feed may only be fed to horses with up to 30 g per 100 kg body weight and day. We recommend a dose of 15 g - 30 g / 100 kg body weight / day. For an optimal effect, the feed should be divided into at least 2 meals a day and mixed into the daily concentrated feed. For a large horse (600 kg), a dose of 90 g - 180 g / animal / day is recommended. The feeding recommendation refers to a roughage intake (hay) of 1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight and day. The optimal dosage should be determined individually for each horse. Administer Ruppiner Gastro-Care over a period of up to four weeks.
